Typhoid Fever Symptoms

Yesterday, I visited one of my friends in the hospital because she is suffering from dengue and typhoid fever.  She said, she has a fever for two days then after the fever subsides, there is a nose bleed, abdominal pain and black stool.  Her parents brought her to the hospital and diagnosed typhoid fever. They thought that it could be dengue  since her platelet count was very low.

She is now taking antibiotic to treat typhoid but still have distended or bloated stomach. Her doctor advised her to have an ultrasound for further evaluation.  And according to her ultrasound her gallbladder was swelling but her platelet count now is normal. She advised to take medicine to treat gallbladder swelling.
