Car Care and Safety Tips
When we purchase a car last September, 2009, I and my husband will see to it that our car is always in good condition. Aside from cleaning and checking operation of each car part, we also buy accessories for our car such as cargo mat to protect our car against dirt, spills, scratches and debris. Don’t think that a vehicle accessory is just a waste of money because each accessory will always have advantages of using it especially the cargo mat. We should protect our exterior and interior of our vehicle.
The following are some car care tips:
- Wash your car regularly at least once a month to avoid stains. Once in a while use pressure wash to remove dirt from difficult to reach areas.
- On a regular basis, wax your car for shiny look and helps to shield the paint from harsh environment.
- As much as possible, park your car in shady areas or inside the garage to protect the body cover of your car such as the paint surface of your vehicle.
- Make sure to check the water in the radiator to avoid overheating and oil regularly in the engine, brake, clutch, power steering, etc.
- Check lighting such as headlights, brake and tail lights and turn signals.
- Confirm that battery cables and post are in good condition to defend against corrosion and clean it if necessary.
- Regularly check air filtration system for damage or clog.
- Check tire inflation once a month as a preventive and safety maintenance.
- Chassis should always lubricate.
- Inspect belt for cracks and damage.
- Verify that your windscreen has enough water in the windscreen washer reservoir and wipers blades should work properly.
- The last but not the least always check that your have enough fuel before your travel.
- Buy automotive accessories that will provide style and comfort while driving including cargo mat. Also to protect the appearance of your car or vehicle.
