Life is so complicated nowadays because of hectic schedule. Some people may not have enough time for the food preparation. They usually bought a ready made meals or pre-packaged meal. A hotdog and ham at breakfast which are not good to our body. Lunch and dinner will usually do in fast food chain. The possible cause of this eating lifestyle will bring illnesses and obesity.
- Healthy eating habits. Avoid keeping high calories food in your fridge to prevent it from eating. Why not, buy fruits and vegetables and place where it is visible in eyes and likely to eat by family members. Also, always make it sure to have breakfast before going to school or work in order to have better control of your appetite.
- Less parties. As much as possible, avoid partying all the time. Parties are great source of high calories food and fats. If you cannot avoid it, bring a healthy food such as fruits and vegetables. Take sweets in moderation because it is not bad occasionally.
- Awareness and knowledge about healthy food and nutrition. Knowledge about food and eating in relationship to health is the best way to change inappropriate eating habits among individuals. Reading books about food and nutrition is a great way to learn and aware how these foods work to human body and prevent acquired disease. If you have the knowledge, you will likely to eat more nutritious foods.
- Time Management. Take time to prepare healthy meals for yourself and your family. It is important to eat on time instead of eating in a rush manner such as eating while driving or watching TV. If you eat on rush manner, it is possible that you may eat unhealthy meals.
- Be physically active. Involve yourself in any physical activity such as sport to improve your health. Take time to walk around block or mall or take stairs instead of elevator and be energetic. Being active doesn’t mean to spent time to a gym.
Eating healthy foods requires patience, consistence, determination and discipline most especially in these days because there are foods that taste delicious but contain nothing but unhealthy preservatives and with high calories content and fats.
