Basic Way to Lose Weight

One way to loss weight is the combination of proper eating and proper physical activity. Although this consider a long duration but it is a natural yet effective. Proper eating and physical activity is sometimes hard to achieve because it involves change in attitudes and behavior through discipline and determination.

It is also essential to have support and encouragement of family and friends, particularly of those whom you share meals to achieve your ultimate goal to lose weight. It will be trying and difficult in many ways. You may feel discouraged and be tempted to quit. Please don’t quit. Just do the best you can each day

Planning Meals

Proper food doesn’t mean cutting down meal time and skipping important meal but reducing some calories and removing some fats on your daily meals. Start weighing yourself and eat in your usual manner and start eliminating some fats and calories. Record everything you eat, the time it is eaten, and the number of calories it contains. During this period, continue to do your typical physical activity. After two week, weigh yourself again, if there’s nothing reduce, it’s time to check again the foods you eat and eliminated fats and calories but be sure to get sufficient vitamins and minerals which are largely found in proteins. If you need to eat more foods or to eat more often, try snacking on low calorie foods such as carrots, cabbage, celery, cucumber, etc. All of these can be eaten raw between meals.

Get Physically Active

While balancing your eating habits, it’s time to begin the daily exercise in whatever way you will find convenient. Some people have no time for regular exercise; why not look for patterns in your day or week where you could get exercise. Like for example, walking up and down the stairs instead of using elevator, walk through a shopping mall back and forth to buy stuffs, do household chores, walk, jog or bike to and from your workplace or park.

Maintaining your Weight Loss

Once achieved the desired weight, you can test varieties of foods to see what happens if you increase your calories intake. But you will have to be careful, or you’ll become overweight again. But if you do not succeed in losing weight, you may need professional help. A qualified physician may recommend special diets, or suggest to test in the hospital so that he can see that you have no caloric food at all for as long as three weeks and advice for proper treatment.
