Balance Diet and Healthy Eating

Food is need by our body as a source of energy but it must be enough, too much or lack of it is not good.  Every food we take must be in balance. But the problem is how to balance the food we take. Balance diet is the right amount of foods need by our body.

In order to balance our food on the table, we must aware the nutrients of every food we bought in the market. For the mom out there, we can create a list of menu for the whole week and include in our grocery list. It is also important to include fruits and vegetables in the list. There are many simple foods that have complete nutrition that need by our body. Fresh fruits and berries will satisfy your graving for sweets while steam or raw vegetables can be eaten to retain the most nutritional value.

One way for having a healthy eating is to reduce the amount of fat by eating lean meat such as chicken or beef and only once a week and eat more fruits and vegetables. We all know that too much fat can cause heart attacks, diabetes, kidney disease, gallbladder attacks and premature aging.  Eating more fruits and vegetables can provide high in complex carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, low in fat and free of cholesterol.

Avoid too much sugary foods, salt and refined-grain products. We can enjoy sugary soft drinks to a minimum. Too much sugar is often associated to obesity and diabetes. Also, it is important to maintain the calories intake by our body. Don’t forget to shop for fish and seafood because omega 3 oils from ocean are often lacking for our diet.  Serve seafood 2 to 3 times per week. Eliminate processed food such as hot dogs, bacon and sausages because it has lots of junk in them which don’t want by our body.

Always remember that health is wealth, so we must take care of our physical body but of course to live a healthy lifestyle, we must also healthy mind such as peace of mind and worry free life. Enjoy life.
