Sinigang na Hipon (Shrimps in Tamarind Soup)
Sinigang is one of Philippine famous dish. Sinigang often integrated fish, pork, chicken, beef and shrimps. This time I use shrimps for my sinigang. I often use tamarind for my sinigang because I enjoyed the broth of tamarind. This dish is nutritious because shrimps contain omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin B12 and niacin.
