Simple Spaghetti Recipe

Spaghetti usually cooked during birthdays because kids love to eat spaghetti. I cooked spaghetti during weekend as our family snack. Try my simple recipe and your children will love it.

Ingredients:

1 kg spaghetti noodles
1/2 head garlic, minced
1 large size onion, sliced
1/4 ground pork
1/4 kilo hotdog, slice diagonally
1/4 kg. tomato sauce
1/4 kg. spaghetti sauce
100 ml Tomato paste
1 small can corn beef (optional)
1 can of condensed milk (100 ml)
1/2 cup grated cheese
3 tablespoon cooking oil
1 1/2 kg catsup
½ cup meat broth
1 small can pineapple chunk
2 cups water

Procedures:

Spaghetti Sauce

  1. In a casserole, add water and bring to boil the ground pork for about 5-8 minutes or until the meat is tender. Set aside the ground pork and the broth.
  2. In a sauce pan, sauté garlic and onion in a cooking oil.
  3. Add hotdog, simmer and stir for about a minute.
  4. Put the ground pork, meat broth, corn beef and add catsup, spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce and stir to combine.
  5. Bring to boil and then add tomato paste and stir.
  6. Add pineapple chunk and condensed milk.
  7. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes and stir occasionally.
  8. Add the grated cheese and salt to taste.
  9. Remove from heat and serve.

Noodles Cooking Instruction

  1. In a casserole or pot, add water and 1 tablespoon salt and bring to boil.
  2. Add noodles into water. If you wish, you can break the spaghetti noodles in 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inch lengths before add to boiling water.
  3. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking. Cook until tender (7-10 minutes or see time for a package)
  4. Drain noodles quickly in strainer.
  5. Serve with your spaghetti sauce.
