Puto Pao Recipe
Try this puto pao recipe from Chef Rene Ruz.
Ingredients:
7 cups SMMI PUTO MIX (1 kg)
3 1/2 water
Filling:
250 gram PUREFOODS PORK TOCINO, cooked and chopped
Procedure:
Prepare steamer by putting in water until base is half-filled. Turn on heat to high until water boils.
Prepare puto molds by lining muffin paper cups. Place a teaspoon of tocino in each mold. Set aside. Combine puto mix and water in a bowl and mix until smooth. Fill each mold with the puto batter. Arrange on the steam basket and steam until done, about 20 minutes.
Makes 36 puto.
