Chicken Adobo Recipe
I cooked chicken adobo dish as my daily menu in my kitchen because it is very simple and easy to prepare. Adobo is considered a national dish of the Philippines. It is best serve with steam rice.
1/2 kilo chicken, cut into serving pieces
2 1/2 cups of water
1/2 cup of vinegar
5 gloves of garlic, crushed
1/4 cup soy sauce
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon cooking oil
Procedures:
- In a casserole, combine water, chicken, vinegar, and garlic. Bring to boil and simmer for approximately 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
- Remove the chicken from the sauce and put it in plates or bowl and set aside the sauce or broth.
- Fry the chicken until brown on all sides.
- Transfer the chicken to a casserole with sauce and add soy sauce and simmer again for 5 minutes.
- Add salt if desire.
- Remove from heat and serve.
